(except that my wife’s name is Jen) As it turns out, I’ve had the pleasure of dining alongside Colin Campbell at Friday Macro Dinner and he is absolutely right. Each Friday for the past 18 years, Priscilla and Lewis have opened their home and their hearts up to health-conscious, adventurous diners who know about this hidden culinary gem on the outskirts of Ithaca. Whether they are preparing meals for 20 or opening up every corner of their home and deck to over 50 … each meal is memorable, delicious, and one-of-a-kind. We go every Friday that we’re in town and have formed many friendships with other vegans because of this weekly gathering.

You can find this book online, in some regional specialty grocers, and at a limited number of Whole Foods (this number is expanding as the book gains popularity). It’s available in hard cover and lay-flat softcover and is printed on 100% recycled paper. Buy one for you and give one as a gift (so the next time your non-vegan friends say they don’t know what to make when you come over, point to page 54). Simple step-by-step recipes and colorful photos makes cooking like a gourmet chef a snap (although there is no restaurant in the world with food this flavorful and good for you)!
